13 Thursdays until Christmas!
Last year, 218 kids were sponsored through Caring Christmas! This year, so far, 49 students have been sponsored. We are so grateful for the amazing generosity we’ve seen already.
We still need more sponsors to ensure every student is covered. Our deadline to sign up is November 7th - plenty of time, but we want to make sure no child is left out.

Bremen City Schools mourns the loss of Mr. Donald Horace Wilson, a beloved former teacher, coach, and mentor, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 70.
.
Mr. Wilson dedicated over 30 years to education, inspiring students at Youth Christian School, Sewell Middle, Bremen Middle, and Bremen High. He was a teacher with Bremen City Schools for 27 years, a Science Club and Technology Student Association sponsor for many years, coordinator of the 7th grade Blue Ridge Trip to Camp Mikel, hosted Learning Research Cooperative Groups, and produced the "Blue News" for many years. He was an assistant coach in basketball, football, and baseball, as well as a score keeper and announcer for basketball for many years. A 1973 Carrollton High graduate and state champion football player, he found his greatest joy in teaching and sharing his faith.

His legacy of kindness, service, and passion for students will never be forgotten.

The Georgia Tray of the Week Campaign is a school meal promotional activity that highlights the consistently high quality of school meals served in Georgia schools and is promoted and awarded through the Georgia School Nutrition Program.

This is the 7th time that BCS has received Georgia Tray of the Week, = 5 times for BHS, 1 time for JES, and 1 time for BA/BMS. We are so proud of the BCS School Nutrition Program and all that they do for our staff and students on a daily basis!

Twenty years ago Paul lost his life in service to our country. Our community remembers an all around great guy who loved both sports and performing arts. We remember Paul most of all for his kindness to others.
