Don’t forget to set your clocks forward one hour tonight as we welcome Daylight Saving Time! While we may lose an hour of sleep, we gain more sunshine in the evenings—perfect for spring sports and activities. 🌞
.
We look forward to seeing everyone rested and ready for a great week at school on Monday! 💙

Students enjoyed seeing one of their favorite books come to life on the big screen while celebrating the joy of reading.
It was the perfect way to remind everyone that “a person’s a person, no matter how small!” ❤️📖

After learning all about Juliette Gordon Low, the inspiring founder of the Girl Scouts, students wrapped up their study with a Girl Scout cookie taste test!
There were lots of opinions and big smiles, but in the end, Tagalongs were the clear winner! 🏆🍫🥜
Hands-on learning (and a little chocolate) makes history even sweeter! 💛✨

Our Gifted Program wrapped up February with hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences!
Second-grade gifted students recently completed an exciting project-based learning unit where they created their very own pizza restaurants! 🍕 Students designed unique logos, developed creative menus, and crafted detailed business plans. Throughout the unit, they applied math, writing, creativity, and collaboration skills in a real-world context. The project culminated in students making and enjoying their own delicious pizzas - a fun and rewarding celebration of their hard work!
Third-grade gifted students brought history to life with an impressive Wax Museum Presentation! 🎭 Students researched a famous person (historical or present-day), wrote detailed reports, dressed as their chosen figure, and presented to guests who visited the museum. It was an engaging way to strengthen research, writing, and public speaking skills while building confidence and creativity.
We are so proud of our students for their innovation, dedication, and outstanding presentations!
