It's been an exciting and busy week at Jones Elementary! From field trips and Jones Jog to money machine excitement and spirit day fun, and lots of learning, exploring, creating, and discovering in between, we made every moment count!
We also had the opportunity to celebrate our AMAZING PTO and show them how much we appreciate everything they do for our school. We are so grateful for all the ways they support our students and staff! 💙

Mrs. Davis’s gifted math class created a hallway of haunted houses and monsters while demonstrating their understanding of multiplication arrays and the distributive property to solve equations.
We love seeing our Blue Devils use creativity and critical thinking to bring their learning to life!

Some people have a way of making every place they enter a little brighter, and Ms. Emily is one of them!
Her coworkers describe her as “pure sunshine” and a “ray of sunshine every day,” and Ms. Emily consistently looks for ways to make students and staff feel valued and special. Whether she is working with students, supporting someone in the hallway, creating something thoughtful for her coworkers, or simply making someone smile, she goes the extra mile to make JES a happier place.
Congratulations, Ms.Emily, on being named our JES Faculty Member of the Month! Thank you for bringing sunshine, kindness, and a servant’s heart to our Blue Devil family!

Today, these kindergarten students learned about kindness, courage, and the importance of remembering. Together, they created a special 9/11 painting to honor the day.
Others showed their support by wearing red, white, and blue.

Families will enjoy fun early literacy activities, interactive music and movement, opportunities to meet local authors, and every student will receive a FREE book! 📖💙
